With summer around the corner, I’m looking for a communication device for my 9 year old son. We are starting to give him a lot of freedom to roam the neighborhood but would like to be able to keep tabs. Problem I’m running into is that almost our whole neighborhood is a dead zone for LTE cell service. We use WiFi calling at our house, but obviously that’s not an option for him out in the woods or streets. Any good recommendations for something like GPS that would be reliable off network?
