Going to do the Bourbon Trail next month and looking for any recommendations, tips, tricks, or places to avoid. Here's what i've got booked:
Thursday - Peerless, Evan Williams, Old Forestor (Michter's booked up)
Friday - 4 Roses, Buffalo Trace, Castle and Key (Woodford booked up)
Saturday - Wild Turkey, Heaven Hill, toss up between Willett Bar and Bardstown Tour. I really want to try some old purple tops but I've heard the tour and food at Bardstown are great.
Sunday - Jim Beam, Stitzel-Weller
Anything we're doing not worth it? Something to add? We're starting in Louisville and staying there Thursday. Saturday night in Lexington. Sunday night in Bardstown.
