Only a year and a half into the current administration, it’s hard to believe that our nation’s top ‘girl boss,’ Vice President Kamala Harris, has produced such a high volume of wisdom. There is no denying that Harris has a way with words. From complex foreign policy explanations to groundbreaking musings on the COVID-19 pandemic, our VP has been a sage for the people.

Here’s my favorite philosophical soliloquy (because it sounds as though she’s shouting her stream of consciousness into a void) from our babbler-in-chief:

"The governor and I, we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right, the significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires. What we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children."

It almost reminds one of Abraham Lincoln. Can the Gettysburg Address even hold a candle?

Combating the terror of climate change is a major priority of the Biden administration. Harris offered this promising solution to the ‘crisis’ that provides us with real clarity and hope:

"We will work together, and continue to work together, to address these issues…and to work together as we continue to work, operating from the new norms, rules, and agreements, that we will convene to work together...we will work on this together."

In the wake of the Highland Park shooting, Harris argued:

“We got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to have taken this seriously,” as she announced an outright assault on the Second Amendment.

Speaking to COVID-19, Harris didn’t mince words on the urgency of immediate action and strong leadership:

It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day.”

Phew, we’re saved.

Harris’s foreign policy positions have been so well articulated that they leave our international allies and adversaries in disbelief. Take this lesson from her on basic situational geography:

“So Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong.”

Americans are quite lucky to have a woman of such profound intelligence in the White House. Can you say “girl power?
