First thought is that it doesn't look like we game planned for them very much. Defensively, we played same coverage the majority of time, regardless of situation. Probably had something to do with youth in secondary, but didn't adjust vs trips & left the read option on #3 open whole game. No variety in pressure situations, and 6 man box on 3rd & short all day. Offensively, I think we need to use more 10 personnel instead of 20. Play the numbers game...make the defense declare how many they commit to the run. Still have one back power, and actually run a zone read where JJ can pull. He's not going to break many, but 3-5 yard gains are fine & makes defense have to play hat for hat. Plus, it isolates receivers & can assist in helping JJ choose best matchup. Just my 2 cents.
