Just thinking out loud….will the Iron Bowl continue to be Thanksgiving weekend going forward?

With divisions going away, in theory it’s possible for AU-bama (and any other two SEC teams for that matter) to have to play each other the last weekend in the regular season and then a week later in the SEC Championship. Could the conference mandate that only non-conference games be played the final weekend, with the Iron Bowl being moved up the Saturday before Thanksgiving (like it was played until 2006)?

The most logical thing would be to get rid of conference championship games and let that first weekend in December be the first round of the playoff, but of course that’ll never happen because of money.
