bammer’s shot chart from last nights win over Clemson…
Only one (1) shot in 40 minutes that was NOT a 3-point shot or a shot within 3 feet of the basket/backboard. That was a missed 8 foot shot from the left side of the key.
That was an incredible night of executing Oat’s system of only wanting to take 3-point shots, layups, dunks, or put backs and to take zero midrange shots.
Then I went back and looked at the shot chart when they played and lost to UConn 82-67 in November of 2022.
A different story…several midrange attempts/misses and fewer 3-point attempts….they held Sears to 5 points and Brandon Miller to 18.
If bammer is to beat THIS UConn team next Saturday they will have will have to earn it; the Huskies know how to defend against this system and who to defend.
UConn opened last evening as an -11 point favorite and it’s - 11.5 right now.
Betting my piggy bank on the Huskies.
