Coming back from Daulphin Island-I had a birthday, just turned 79
Never been in the hospital, no prescription meds, haven't taken a sick day in 40+ years, 6' 194lbs, blood pressure 118/70

We stopped at Greenville to get a barbeque--then reentered the "Nascar traffic" going north 80 mph plus--we were going 70 mph
Next thing I know I see green grass in front of me--I am in the median between 4 lanes of Interstate traffic--my wife had the wheel and was praying out loud--I had blacked out
We finally came to a stop on a drain culvert--a wrecker was stopped and saw us and after the highway patrol and an ambulance came the wrecker got us back on the highway

we went to the ER and got checked out --catscan/ekg/echo-cardio---all good
My pulse had gotten low (29) so the cardiologist kept me overnight and next day put in a pacemaker--about the size of a 50 cent piece--
he didn't give me any restrictions except don't lift your arm overhead for 3 weeks

I am back to mowing grass, weed eating, running chainsaw

Someone asked who was with me in my truck--I said "me, my wife, and my dog were in the front and JESUS was in the back seat.

Enjoy everyday!!
