who is the most morally bankrupted character on television. Is it Walter White or Lester Nygaard from Fargo?
At first I would have said Walt because he was willing to poison a kid, Brock, in order to further his cause. And he sat idly by while watching Jane choke to death on her vomit in her sleep after OD'ing But at the end of the day, Walt loved his family and did what he did to provide his family security. He tried to save Hank and he freed Jesse. Walt was surely capable of love of compassion.
Lester on the other hand killed two wives even pinning the murder of his first wife on his own brother. Once the monster came out of Lester, he was absolutely 100% only looking out for himself. Walt showed up at the end to reveal information to his wife she could use to get herself out of jail (potentially).
I think people may say Walter, but if we had a bigger and longer body of work on Lester, I think Lester would prove to be the most evil, corrupted, morally bankrupted character on television. I am going with Lester.
Breaking Bad was freaking awesome by the way.
