One of the best series, horror or otherwise, I've ever watched. Mike Flanagan is becoming the new hot director out there. His other horror film, Hush, on Netflix (also very good) was filmed in Fairhope.
I HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you can handle scary stuff. It is definitely very creepy as well.
There is some insane directing skills as well. One episode has an 18 minute long single shot where the camera follows every character through the house without breaking continuity. Impressive stuff all the way around.
