Hunter ended the 2024 regular season leading the Big 12 in both receptions and receiving touchdowns, and he was also in the top five in the entire country in those two categories. Additionally, he was third in the Big 12 receiving yards.
Hunter's 11 passes defended led the Big 12, and his four interceptions were tied for third along with five other players. Additionally, there were three instances during the season when Hunter had both an interception and a receiving touchdown in the same game.
