can't hit 70% of their free throws ..... as important as this ability is to the outcome of so many tightly contested games why don't more coaches at all levels stress this with their players?
I've read that the issues include time limitations on how much teams can practice, that young guns focus on Pistol Pete ball handling, hitting 3s , and wowing the crowds with incredible slam dunks, etc. But can't coaches require guys to take 100 FTs a day and give them some technique lessons, etc.
BTW, this isn't aimed at any particular AU player .... just seems that it one area that can make a huge difference and that any player could work on to improve their game.
