I think everyone saw in my first post that Jay G is not very fond of me. However his comments he made yesterday that got some of you worked up in a frenzy are the TRUTH. There is group that does not like Gus. Some of the same group that tried to run Tubs off that first time. Let me say that I am third generation Auburn. I now live in Auburn. I have always loved Auburn. I have always posted things that have gone on behind the scenes that I did not think were right and it has got me in trouble from time to time.
As far as Saturday goes, I do not know that I have ever seen a more disappointing performance in my life. That does not mean that I care any less for our football program. Sometimes you can know too much about behind the scenes and it really disappoints you in certain people. There is a faction of people in the athletic department that need to go. I do not think this is any secret.
To the comment about Jay going back to his Advertiser days, that is something that is needed. If you want to listen to some others that have covered AU forever, that paint a picture of everything is wonderful go ahead. But I can tell you it's not. Now am a saying we are back to the Chizik days? No I am not! I do think this Saturday is the biggest game Auburn has played in a long time. I am not saying if they lose it the program is doomed. I am saying that if they come out like they did this past weekend and look like they can care less if they are there or not, this season will be doomed.
