In the interest of advancing an actual basketball board, I'll post this here (although you might not like all of it).
Jarace Walker (who I REALLY like as a Larry Johnson type forward) plays at IMG in Florida. He's originally from PA. Thus, I'm assuming an Ira Bowman connection, and Bruce got in on him early.
Other major players will be Maryland and Michigan. Juwan Howard is a strong recruiter, as is Turgeon, so that is a concern, but the real competition is UNC.
Walker grew up a Carolina fan. He was also teammates at IMG with UNC's Armando Bacot. Jarace was known to wear Carolina shorts under his IMG shorts, and was waiting for the UNC offer. Roy, as is his way, did his due dilligence but finally offered and it's probably a game-changer.
Again, I'm seeing a UNC/AU battle here. Also know that Roy is PISSED right about now since World Wide Wes and uk bought a 5* PG from Florida (Skyy Clark) out from under him. Bottom line is that Roy usually takes his time in recruiting but I heard (from a source on the UNC staff) that Roy is going full-bore after Jarace (before the usual suspects can pull their $henanigans).
The wildcard is that there's a chance Jarace reclassifies to 2021. That could make things nteresting on both ends. On one hand, Bruce doesnt have a scholly (well, at least not yet), but on the other Roy typically doesn't take reclassifiers (although he may well make an exception here).
