The war in Afghanistan has defined my entire career. I never thought it would end with American soldiers being ordered to leave their own citizens to face torture and certain death from a ragtag army of third world miscreants. The past month has been the most egregious display of cowardice and incompetence I've ever seen from any Presidential administration.
