It's not a matter of if Freeze would come here, it's a matter of if these boosters that have stooped so low would call him.

I think anyone with a brain can figure out that the boosters want a complete yes man. I doubt Freeze fits that bill. They'll hire Steele. I laugh at all these people that are coping really hard and trying to make out this pathetic and unethical coup attempt out to be a good thing. That they're gonna turn around and make a great hire. If you seriously think the same morons perpetrating this will make a slam dunk decision on the hire, you're a moron. And you need to wake up. Zero chance they'll hire Freeze.

If they're dumb enough to do things like play the race card... on a dude from Idaho. Then I don't trust them even remotely to make the decision on who should be HC.

If they get what they want in regards to Harsin's employment, they'll get what they want on the hire. They'll hire a total yes man in Steele. He'll probably bring Bobo back, or something even more stupid. I really don't even wanna know. And Auburn football will become the Tennessee of the SEC West. Possibly worse.

Them wanting the next Pat Dye is complete bull. They want to be the head coach. Or more specifically, want someone to do all the hard work of a head coach while they make the decisions.

Regardless, I think they've shot their load and failed horrendously. Harsin will be the football coach this fall. Will be the coach after that? No idea. I don't pretend to know the future. But for now the boosters have failed in this dumb af coup. Not the first time they've done something this stupid. Trying to get Gus to lower his buyout was hilariously stupid. And predictably didn't work.
