Is this job really as difficult as the last three coaches made it look?

I just don't understand. This job should be easy. The money is there, the support is there, the tradition is there.

Why is it so hard?

Why is it so hard to just buy another QB when the one you have isn't very good?

Why is it so hard to hire tough, sumbitchin' position coaches who demand accountability from the players so that you can be the one to baby them? (see Tubs and the BBQ boys)

Why is it so hard to put your team in the best position possible so they can be successful?

Why is clock management so hard?

Why is it so hard to just admit you don't have the talent to run the offense you ultimately envision, so you think it's best to run power more?

Why do you feel the need to slide in the shit-eating comment about how running the ball "bores" you after your team just won its first conference game on the road and your senior RB (who stuck with you) had one of the best performances an Auburn RB has ever had?

Why?

ALL THIS, mind you, at a program that will build a literal god damned statue in your likeness if you average 9 wins a year and break even against Georgia and Alabama.
