3 or 4 changes in how we operate and it's a 7-5 team.
Agree with a lot of what JGT said in his piece. Defense made strides particularly in the second half. MSU figured correctly that Rudy Ford would be looking to put a hit on somebody after being lambasted for his lame assed play against LSU and they caught him looking and it was an easy six.
If Malzahn called Sean White's pick on the first drive the most significant play or failure he needs to come over and watch the game again with me. Not sure I was watching the same game he thought he was coaching.
What's the point of having QC guys on your staff if (a) they don't see what the fans and opposing coaches see and (b) nobody is listening to them? Really?
Thought Sean White played quite well considering it was his first start and he was put in some situations that would have prevented success by even Dak Prescott. Yeah, he's got to learn to get rid of the ball when there's a jailbreak coming his way but just damn - two false starts by a center and a high snap?
Do we not block ends or blitzes around the corner anymore? Three times the MSU right end blew up a roll out. Just destroyed it. And Coleman and Pettway should have waved a white flag on another as they let the guy go by.
I like to think we'll make some changes and win a couple that nobody thinks we can right now. Ain't time to throw in the towel yet. Time to get back to work. We got eight left to play and if we don't want to be 0-fer in the conference then the coaches need to get the show on the road and we need to quit making 7th grade mistakes on the field.
Thoughts? Buehler?
