NO! Absolutely not. However, during Bruce's 2nd year there were some doubters & there were those that thought
we had made a mistake with him trying to recruit & win with his NCAA baggage. He had a 26-66(39.4%) record his first two seasons,
Auburn let him build it like he wanted & now we're currently the 5th ranked team in men's basketball. Bruce had a record of building
a winning program at every school where he was the head coach.
Hugh Freeze has built a winning program at every school where he has been a head coach. If he wins one of our last 3 games, he'll have a 10-25
(40%) record, about the same as Bruce. Hugh's 2nd year record will be worse than his first here @ Auburn, so was Bruce's.
Auburn gave him 4 years to build it. I'll admit that building a 12-15 man roster is quite different from building an 85 man roster, less room for mistakes,
but, If we don't show considerable improvement next year & make the playoffs in 26, I'll join the Nancy group & call for his head.
