Is it ethical to assign life saving medical treatments based on race?

Is it ok for a doctor to chose not to help a person based on their skin color?

I cant imagine how bad a doctor or nurse must feel to know they are denying life saving treatments using race as the factor. I 100% believe that it unethical to use race as the determining factor for providing medical assistance.

Does anyone feel differently?
