Yes, ...... no ..... maybe.

It really is a much bigger game for Jimbo/aTm than for Auburn. Jimbo and aTm fans have this marked on the calendar as an easy win for aTm. A loss to Auburn would be devastating to Jimbo's coaching future there. "Like sands thru the hourglass" it would be a lot of fun to watch. Bottom line, aTm needs to be "skeert" of Auburn.

For Auburn, if we lose that game, we next have UGA and then, at LSU. The two toughest game on our schedule. That easily could 3 loses in a row, with Ole Miss coming to town. All of that could be tough on our teams psychological health. {side note, I think Ole Miss is overrated} We could still win 7 games, {3 of 5 -Ole Miss, Miss State, at Arkansas, at Vandy and the bammer's at home} - No one nationally thinks we win that game, and they all think we are a 6-6 team. I think we really don't have to win that game to have a really good season, as long as we play well and make it close.

So, this is not necessarily a season defining game for us. We're expected to lose. However, if we should win this game, the momentum going forward could make it a very special year. I think a win, because of the momentum, could make it a season defining game for us.
