...One player states that they're primarily after health insurance. I haven't considered this previously. Seems like the school would be responsible for health care when an athlete is injured in practices/games. Plenty of players come from challenging financial backgrounds. Are they required by the school to have health care before participating? It's a potentially controversial subject in this move toward unionization.
