Fiirst off, the feet of Justin Garrett who was all over the place thanks to his new special cleats made just for him by Armor All. His scoop and score was the difference in the game as it turned out. The longest in school history, stoping a red zone drive, and was a 14-point swing, putting L'ville down two scores early in the game.
Secondly, the foot of Carlson who made his career long FG at 56 yards before half giving AU a 17 point lead. It also bailed out some poor play calling and execution on the drive. Add to that all the touchbacks on kick offs and his foot was a difference maker in the outcome.
