...which it seems he does, he was going to find any kind of excuse or inkling as a sign that he should sign there. I would have loved to have him, but I know from making a few school and career choices that it's really hard to ignore that feeling if you have it (--granted, the insane amount of NIL money was never on the table for me obviously ). If he would have been second-guessing himself his whole time here, it's good that he'll only have himself to blame if he winds up with a less-than-stellar career at Alabama or if the team tanks with a depleted roster. And if he realizes it was a bad choice and we snag him in the portal next year, at least that "what if I had gone to play in that tuscaloosa $hithole" thought won't be nagging him. Just my $0.02.
