I'd love to know the "real" mindset and motivation of Mike Bobo as he helps prepare AU this week

I'd never fault a guy for loving his alma mater. Blood, water, and stuff.

And I fully expect that Mike Bobo would greatly enjoy AU pulling the slight shocker this Saturday. Partly because it would almost certainly mean that Bobo, Hars, and the supporting cast of staff put together a brilliant offensive game plan that kept us in position to win.

But my point is, does Bobo's level of "want to" in this arise solely from "Auburn University is on my paycheck", or is there a little extra juju of being able to beat his alma mater? Or in a case like Bobo's, the motivation arising from not being given a shot to be head coach in contrast to Kirby? (Not saying Bobo earned it).

Or to make a point to the former hating UGA fan segment that Bobo is a terrible OC or play caller?

It may not matter in the end as to impacting this Saturday's game, but I'm curious nonetheless on these sort of "games within the game".

Bobo of course played '93 - '97 at UGA, overlapping with Butt Cutt's '95 - '98 playing career at Georgia. Bobo was QB's coach '-01-'06 and OC from '07 - '14 at UGA.
