Saw your post in the Garth thread referencing Eddie From Ohio. I didn't know anyone down here knew them. I was good friends with Mike Clem when I lived in Northern Virginia. Saw their first show together on a Tuesday night at a bar in Arlington called Bad Habits. It became a standing gig for them and after a couple of months you couldn't get in the door. But on that first night there were only about three of us left by the second set. Julie would just sing our requests. I knew they were on the folk circuit and used to play Eddie's Attic occasionally in Atlanta, but I've never met anyone in the South that really followed them.
If you think their shows are great, you should have seen Jellyfish Blues Band. Mike, Robbie and Eddie were in that band in college and they were awesome. Full horn section. When it broke up they brought on Julie and formed EFO.
Your mention of EFO brought back some great memories from 25 years ago. Thanks.
