I know a lot of people don’t like freeze, but what intrigues me about him is he wants to be here regardless of all the petty shit going on behind the scenes….he would’ve crawled over broken glass to get here last year.
He sent his daughter here and he has bought a place here….he’s invested and obviously he thinks well of auburn and the community to do so.
Also We’re giving him another shot at being relevant just like we did Bruce and they’ll bleed for us, he knows this is it and I believe he’ll do what it takes to be successful.
To me that’s half the battle….passion/love/belief in a place……it’s easy to unify and get behind someone who loves auburn regardless of the baggage.
Pat dye loved Auburn(to the point he replaced uga) and showed it everyday and the people would go thru hell for him because they knew he was all in.
This dude can coach ball on top of that. Sometimes you have to make choices that are not easy and may compromise some beliefs. I believe in second chances even though hes done some weird shit, but if he’s moved on and the people he hurt have moved on, that’s all that should matter.
