Are all republicans so naive that they think they get away from trump unscathed past 2022? Please tell me how a divided field of say Desantis, Pence, Christie, Youngkin, Scott, Hogan, Cheney, Haley, Cruz, Paul, Cotton, etc. Obviously, some of those listed will be gutless and not run.

Trump has a built in base of 40-50% even if indicted. Last time, he had a built in base of only 20-25% at the beginning after his Mexican immigrant speech and won easily. The rest will split votes for the non-trumpers. I doubt Trump participates in the debates.

Let’s say he somehow loses. Do you think he goes away quietly or will he divide the party and take that original 20% with him to believe the primary was rigged? No way. I’m sure he would accept defeat. Lol
