It was the late hit on Carson Beck.
The Auburn player, and no I’m not going to name him because I don’t want to further embarrass him or the team, immediately looked at the ref, pointed to himself and admitted he made a mistake and was sorry. Then he helped Carson Beck up. We were down 18 points at that stage of the game I believe.
This really broke my heart, bros. I thought about all the players who have come through Auburn over the years who worked their ass off just so they could hit the Georgia QB late ON PURPOSE. Just so they could rub that QB’s face in the dirt after it was over, 15 yards, hell 30 yards be damned.
This has got to stop. That isn’t Auburn football. I understand helping the Texas A&M QB up when we’re leading 35-10 at Kyle Field. But what I saw yesterday truly hurt me.
Why doesn’t anyone care what happens to this program?
