I may be more bummed about how WRONG we almost all were about the O-line improvement than any other factor

It happens, Spring ball and Fall camp irrational exuberance without so much as the benefit of seeing how a unit fares against "real" competition. But man, the Koolaid on our O-line was STRONG this Fall camp. Talented, bigger (that they are), road grading D-linemen, noseguards couldn't get off our C's blocks, pass pro really ahead of schedule.

And then Saturday happened. Got owned by blitzes, on rare occasions opened a hole for RB's, but much of the yardage was Battie popping it outside and improvising. The Auburn O-line is the MOST PENALIZED IN ALL OF THE SEC. 14th ranked.

They can improve, but damn sure better or it wont' matter who the Bunker starts at QB.
