I basically told them exactly what was going to happen in this game, because we’ve seen it over and over again this season. They said I was over-thinking it, no way that USCe would win because they were terrible.
With Gus, it always seemed that the way we lost was more frustrating than the losses themselves. I really don’t see how this coaching staff is any different. On D, we may come in with a decent game plan, but once you figure out how to attack it, we’re done. Same deal with the offense really, although it’s often not the defense that stops what we’re doing well, but our coaching staff.
On both sides of the ball, it feels like we’re sitting on a train track with a train headed VERY SLOWLY towards us, and all we have to do to avoid certain death is to do the sensible thing. And we’re totally incapable of doing that. So we just have to sit and watch the train come, knowing full well what that’s going to mean.
