but goodness kids these days often seem to totally lack any common sense.
My daughter had choir practice last night. When she came out, there was one of the children in the choir, 16 yo, sitting by the door. She was upset bc she had been late before and director told her if she was late again she'd lose her spot.
Anyhow, she had gotten there about 5 min after practice began, pulled on the door and it was locked, so she started crying and just sat down next to the wall, sat there for 1:20 until everyone else came out.
She never tried the other door. It was open the whole time.
