The crews for 6-7 of our games have blown chunks in terms of being competent, not letting their zebra egos influence their calls and non-calls, and not knowing that the very best officiating is that which you barely notice in a game.
But yesterday’s referees were extremely competent, and fair to both teams I thought in what Sonny called on air a TOUGH game for officials to call because both teams play such physical defense.
So Bravo to that crew! No game is called flawlessly, but they came closer than I’ve seen all season.
And yes, you’re damn right I like ‘em better because we WON a Quad 1 game!
