Ladies and gentlemen, I know all of our attentions are on who will be next to go, who are we hiring and who’s in the portal. In the middle of all of that, I would like to ask you for a favor. As many of you know, my wife is the director of a child advocacy center called Prescott House. This organization comes along side children who have been physically and sexually abused or those who have been witness to violent crimes. On a daily basis they endeavor to offer help and hope to the absolute most vulnerable among us while also dealing with the very dregs of our society. They provide stability for these children as they walk through the legal process and they offer continued help after the cases have been completed. It’s not just a job, it’s a calling. My wife and the staff at PH hear and see things that are literally beyond most of our comprehension.
Prescott House is a non profit and as the year draws to an end they are working to reach their budgetary goals. This is where the favor comes in. I know that there are some among us who run companies who still need to make charitable contributions before the end of the year. I know there are those among us who have been blessed individually to a point that they need to make charitable contributions before year’s end as well. If you are one of these individuals, or if you are a person who simply has a heart for children in desperate situations, I would ask you to thoughtfully and prayerfully consider making Prescott House the beneficiary of those gifts.
There are a number of men here who are deeply involved in the the world of PH. @Chalupa Batman , @auwench , @Fergie1220 are people who can testify to the difference this organization makes on a daily basis. I hope you will join us and support this effort to offer help to those who feel helpless and restore hope to those who feel there is no hope, especially during the Holiday season.
