The NRA is a "non-profit" organization that was formed to influence lawmakers to write laws that facilitate as many gun sales as possible in order for the gun manufacturers to make as much money as they possibly can. They are such good marketers that they have convinced my friend to write them checks in order to further influence the lawmakers. They have convinced him that he might need a bunch of guns in case the United States military tries to infringe upon his rights and that by limiting what types of guns he is allowed to buy that they are trying to take away his constitutional rights. Can you believe that he is so simple that he has fallen for this?
