Carl’s Jr. And Hardee’s Testing New Candied Bacon Lineup
In an effort to tap into the sweet and savory cravings that go hand-in-hand with the holiday season, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are testing a new Candied Bacon lineup at select locations in Bakersfield, California, Champaign-Springfield, Illinois and Dothan, Alabama.
The new Candied Bacon lineup includes:
- Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg (Carl’s Jr.): A signature Buttermilk Biscuit topped with applewood-smoked candied bacon made in-house, coated with caramelized brown sugar and pepper, American cheese and a freshly cracked fried egg. Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg is available for a suggested price of $3.49.
- Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg (Hardee’s): The brand’s Made from Scratch Biscuit topped with applewood-smoked candied bacon made in-house, coated with caramelized brown sugar and pepper, American cheese and a freshly cracked fried egg. The Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg is available for a suggested price of $3.49.
- Candied Bacon Angus Thickburger: A one-third pound Angus beef patty charbroiled over an open flame, then topped with four strips of crispy candied bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mild garlic mayo served on a toasted potato bun. The Candied Bacon Angus Thickburger carries a suggested price of $5.49.
- Candied Bacon Snack Pack: Applewood-smoked candied bacon made in-house, coated with caramelized brown sugar and pepper, loaded into a portable pack for on-the-go snacking. The Candied Bacon Snack Pack carries a suggested price of $2.49.
