My first Auburn game was courtesy of a friend whose dad won a raffle for four Iron Bowl tickets to the Punt Bama Punt game.
I came to Auburn because I was here the weekend it snowed in 1972. My dad figured that if it was between LSU and Auburn, Ga Tech (where he played) being out of the picture, then he was ALL AUBURN.
I don't think I've been prouder of an Auburn team since I've been an Auburn fan than I am of this basketball team.
This tourney has been special and one day this team will be celebrated, as was Pitino's Kentucky team that lost to Laettner and Duke, as the guys that turned it around.
They'll hold a place in Auburn's heart once people really realize what they've accomplished.
A 13 seed with a losing record playing the best team in the country for the right to play for the SEC title.
