I seem to remember Gus mentioning early in his tenure as OC that one thing that prevented running his offense at "pace" all the way down the field was the need to substitute different players to run different plays. But one day, he'd have 11 guys that could run a full playbook and negate the need for subs-- which would also prevent the defense from being allowed to sub. This is his 3rd season as head coach, so we should be approaching enough of his recruits to find 11 such guys, right? But consistently during the Louisville game- we shuttled new personnel on and off the field between plays.
