We are set to speak with Hugh Freeze as Auburn prepares to battle Arkansas on Saturday in Fayetteville.

Follow along and refresh for all updates.

*** Big week ahead as other sports are kicking off. Hugh wishes Coach J and Bruce good luck as well as Coach Crouch for volleyball.

*** "I'm glad I'm not with Bruce in South Dakota. That wouldn't be a fun trip for me."

*** Watching film yesterday, there were a lot of good things and some that were not so good. Some if we made certain plays the game would have firmly been in control. We can't have those not go our way this week against Arkansas.

*** Hogs have a lot of motivation. "Very scary team. Very good on defense stopping the run. A lot of respect for KJ for several years now."

*** Seems like they are much more confident.

*** Says fans were incredible. "Felt like we were at a neutral site game at worse."

*** Looking to become bowl eligible. That is a big thing in Year 1.

*** Mentions Tigers had seven drops.

*** Says not one time have they discussed cutting from the tight end position regarding Micah Riley's cut block that negated Jarquez's touchdown.

*** "It's a collaboration. I'm very involved. Monty is calling his share of plays, too. I'm very involved in what is on the call sheet."

*** "I thought we played with some confidence and swagger last week. We got off to a fast start. I work hard on explosive plays ... We should have had more."

*** On KJ Jefferson: "It's amazing some of the tackles he gets out of and he extends plays. That is an area where we have to concentrate. You watch him enough, you know you're not going to get him on the ground every time."

*** "Not about the volume. We were both frustrated and we talk openly." - on if Payton Thorne was concerned about the number of throws he was getting every game

*** On Avery jones: "I don't know yet. I haven't talked to Robby and the medical staff yet. We probably won't know until Wednesday or Thursday. Connor will still play some (if Avery returns). If he is available, it will still be a shared responsibility."

*** On returning to Arkansas after winning there last year: "We had come off a big win against BYU and I believe it was after an opening week. What I was concerned about was both of the times I had been to Fayetteville before (at Ole Miss) the weather was atrocious."

*** Hugh said he was disappointed with pass protection against Vanderbilt, and that is everyone, not just the offensive line.

*** On game plan of Payton playing every snap: "I think Payton's skillset is most prepared for what we are doing."

*** "I think Holden had a heckuva week last week ... I think he has a bright future."

*** On game planning against Arkansas after they changed OCs: "I think it's clear they were frustrated with what they were doing. I think it is a good bet that you can throw a lot of the film out. Probably pull out a few games from last year."

*** On Austin Keys: "I thought our linebackers played their best game, truthfully. I think Austin getting back, it really gives up four guys that can play. I think anytime you can do that, especially on defense, you are going to be fresher and better to take on what you have to take on in that box."

*** "I love him. He said, "Coach, I swear I just didn't see him." - on what Payton said after the interception.

*** On conversations with Ron Roberts: "I don't go into the defensive room much. I go in there on Sundays. We watch the team periods. I don't try to get too in the way."

*** On McLeod: "He plays hard. He's having to play too much snaps. We still don't have the depth at pass rushers that we need."

That's it for Hugh. Have a great Monday!
