We are set to speak with Hugh Freeze as Auburn prepares to battle Alabama in the Iron Bowl on Saturday.

*** About as disappointed as I have ever been in coaching on Saturday's performance. "It was embarrassing. It can't happen like that. It starts with me ... We did respond in any way."
*** "I'm ticked off. I hope they are ticked off, I haven't seen them yet." - on players
*** Thinks what is missing in a locker room now is connection, playing for the school and playing for each other. "Got to be more connected when you get hit in the face like we did Saturday."
*** "You can fix your feelings a whole heck of a lot with a good performance in this game" - On Iron Bowl
*** Freeze says he is going to educate the new players with former players about the rivalry.
*** "I don't know yet. I hope so." - on if his players can respond after an embarrassing loss.
*** Mentions team and coaches need to snap out of the fog that they seem to be in following Saturday.
*** On losing the trenches against NMSU: "Lesson in humility, for sure. Offensively, I think we could have run the ball but we never had the chance. We had 42 true offensive plays."
*** Mentions NMSU controlled the clock very well.
*** On staying focused on Alabama with everything going on: "My lesson today is on focus ... We all have that choice this week. You would hope they have a competitive spirit."
*** Freeze said he was nervous and anxious about how they would handle success, three-game winning streak and bowl eligibility and with Iron Bowl looming. Told wife Jill on Saturday morning that he was nervous.
*** Coaching staff had some heart to heart conversations this morning.
*** On Milroe: "We did not fair well with a kid similar to him at LSU and now he's playing well." You have to limit the explosive plays somewhat. Stopping him? No one has really done that.
*** On 10-year anniversary of Kick Six: "I don't think I saw it live. I believe I would have remembered that vividly." He couldn't wait to call Gus and ask him how that felt.
*** On what he says to the Auburn fans: "Auburn faithful, they have persevered through a lot of things and they show up. I have already apologized 1,000 times for the effort we gave on Saturday ... We're in a rebuild. That's no excuse for what happened Saturday."
*** "No one is running much on that defensive front." - on facing Alabama's defensive line
*** "It will be no fun if you have to drop back and throw it every time ... We have to stay balanced and have them honor the run game."
*** On success against Saban and game-planning, what Alabama does well: "Tackle. Mixed up coverages...They are always physical and always tackle well."
*** "Tuesday's practice needs to be physical. You are going to be punched in the mouth in this game and you have to respond."
*** Mentions the game on Saturday against 'Bama will be difficult if Auburn doesn't get into third and manageable situations.
*** "We expect to have a plethora of great players here. It is our opportunity to represent to them one last time what a great atmosphere we have here. Hopefully we can solidify all of the ones that are currently committed and hopefully swing some guys."
That's it for Hugh. Enjoy your Monday. Three days until Turkey Day!!!!!!!!!
