Thought it would be wise to bring this up here. A poster at the Texas site who built a name for herself and apparently even met some of the others began asking for some handouts to help for random things.
She ended up scamming several posters on their board for over 8k allegedly and have even made a list of who contributed. Now a ton of people are livid obviously and frustrated to say the least.
Just wanted to acknowledge this so that people think of common sense while on these boards. Be smart with your money and who you're talking to.
