The House has passed the Republican bill which passed the Senate 100-0 a few weeks ago. There is no reason for the shut down to continue. i1 has no say so in this if McConnell puts the bill on the floor as it passed unanimously and his veto could be overridden. Why is Mitch allowing i1 to force federal workers to go without paychecks? Will he allow i1 to keep the government shut down for years (the rest of his term) as he promised today?
