It will do nothing but sow division and chaos within the organization. If a team wanted him they HAD to take him in the first round. If they take him in a later round he and his diddy will be out there saying all the teams that passed on him in the previous rounds were stupid and such. By default that would include the team that drafts him. It makes his value even less when you consider taking him past round two because each team passed on him many many times.
You can not have the diddy of a late round player that has such a mega phone to the media sewing such division publicly. You just can't. Later round picks aren't worth it.
It would have been different if you took him in the 1st round, no matter which pick in that round. By default the teams his diddy talked smack about passing on him wouldn't have been the team that selected him.
