not know the range of the other team's Field Goal kicker ??? This past Friday night the Cartersville HC called 2 time outs to try and "ICE" the other team's kicker with 4 seconds to go in the 2nd Quarter. The LOS was the 29 so it would've been a 46 yard attempt. Being on the chains I asked a couple of the Hiram Coaches what are the chances on the kid making the kick and they said NO WAY. After the 2nd timeout Hiram put their Offense back on the field and scored on "tipped ball Hail Mary" and I was pissed. The Defensive backs should've easily knocked the ball down but went for the INT to pad their personal stats. WHY didn't Cartersville have a Coach watch their kicker in warmups to determine his range is my question ?
