This season is still a massive success. Getting to the Final Four despite injuries and the late season decline shows just how good this AU team was.
They 100% met the preseason expectation, only to see another SEC team get hot and blow by them to win it all.
It would have been so much better optics if Houston didn't melt. UF would not have won it either and AU would have beaten the eventual champ earlier in the season.
