You're at work and a poop hits you. It's NOT an emergency (this is key) but you do need to go.
You walk into the bathroom that only has 1 urinal and 2 stalls. The big stall is occupied.
Do you think it's messed up to sit down next to the guy that got there first and force him to listen to you fart and drop bombs or do you respectfully leave and come back later?
