Let's just move on from this antiquated and wasteful practice folks. If the door would shut on its own before you get there, I have no obligation to hold it. If it won't shut by the time you get there then technically it's still open. Now, I'm no asshat, if you are carrying a package or if you are elderly, then you rate a door holding. Otherwise, take responsibility for your own life and doors.
