I've been one of the biggest Rodney Garner defenders on here but we need a change and it has to be someone we aren't familiar with at all to change things up. Rodney is just not getting it done with on field coaching (and really outside of a few with built in ties and/or Muschamp in recruiting).
Kiffin has had his issues earlier in his career but throughout his time in Oxford he has recruited lights out, more so than that, he has a rotation of 8-10 defensive linemen that play their asses off. More than anything I just want a damn defensive line who shows up and hits people in the mouth. Losing Lawson sucks but this goes well beyond that...
I read Fournette averaged 8.6 YPC BEFORE CONTACT on Saturday. That is one of the more embarrassing stats I've ever seen. Something has to change on defense and we need to go away from familiarity.
