There is not going to be anymore SEC expansion - unless it increases the yearly TV payout each school gets.
Why would anyone vote to decrease their share from 1/16 of 1.6 Billion to anything less than 1/20th of More than 2 Billion? It doesn't any make sense.
Adding NC St or Miami or UAB or MTSU or Montevallo isn't going to increase your TV package enough to fret over, it is just going to dilute everyone's schedule, and cost you money.
There are very few schools out there that would add net value to the SEC. UNC is one. Clemson is another, for now, but there is a distinct possibility that that won't be a net positive 5-10 years down the road.
