Ladies and gentlemen, as has been discussed here at length, I have chosen to take an extended break from the Bunker, or at least a break from posting on the Bunker. That decision was 100% about me and has absolutely nothing to do with anyone else. That decision hasn’t changed but some things are important enough to take a break from the break.
Last year many of you chose to participate in the Bourbon Bracket Challenge. That event benefits charities around the country and last year Prescott House was the chosen charity. Thanks to you all and many others, it became the most successful event that Bourbon Charities had ever had. There’s no way I can express my level of gratitude for your help. The charity moved on to a different recipient this year for the bracket challenge but they have chosen to include Prescott House in their Mothers Day event.
Below is a link to the details of the event. This one is basically a raffle. You buy chances to win bottles or Bourbon and Wine. I’m not a drinker but I’m told many of these are highly sought after. All of the alcohol is donated and 100% of the money contributed is given to the charities. We know that from the experience with last years bracket. Here is the link. If I’ve done this correctly, You will find how to by chances as well as a list of all the alcohol you have a chance to win. I would ask you to consider buying some chances and being a part of the growing number of people who have come alongside the Staff at Prescott House to offer help and restore hope to the sexually and physically abused children of Jefferson County Alabama. Your contributions literally help save lives and alter the future of children who have had their very existence shattered. Thank you in advance for your help.
