SEC meetings in Destin are coming up, this will be a hot topic. Right now, aubarn is basically the welfare state of the SEC, they get a nice chunk of divided up revenue, but aren't contributing to the pie.

Football is a trainwreck. Basketball is an embarrassment. Baseball is dead.

Those are the 3 money sports for the conference, and although most of the other schools are pulling their weight in at least 1, aubarn is dragging the conference down in all three.

Am hearing there is serious wonderment about bringing in UAB and kicking aubarn to the CUSA. Apparently there are UAB and Bammer boosters that believe getting a new stadium built for UAB in Bham would cinch this deal, since it would move the SECCG back to Birmingham.

Additionally, some schools are worried about playing aubarn in football and that it drags down their SOS and makes it harder to make the playoffs. Alabama in particular has noted that playing aubarn so late in the year does nothing for them, so even if aubarn is allowed to stay, they will probably move the Iron Bowl to the start of the season to appease Alabama.

In short, aubarn is being told to get its house in order, or it will be foreclosed on. Gonna be fun following the news out of Destin.
